Petr Hladík, Tomáš Gůra: Hybridní kniha - nová verze kombinovaného přístupu k informacím

Prezentace se zabývá aktuální verzí dokumentového formátu Hybridní kniha. Popisuje výsledky desetiletého vývoje tohoto informačního média. Hybridní kniha je technologie umožňující vytvářet dokumenty se synchronizovaným multimediálním obsahem, především elektronickým textem, jeho zvukovou nahrávkou a jeho překladem do znakového jazyka zobrazeným jako videozáznam. Součástí systému je webová aplikace Prohlížeč hybridních knih, sloužící k procházení dokumentů v tomto formátu. Prohlížeč je vybaven řadou navigačních funkcí usnadňujících orientaci v dokumentu. Dále je popsán vztah hybridní knihy k podobným technologiím, především Daisy DTB. Na závěr jsou zmíněny záměry realizačního týmu projektu a nastíněn jeho následný vývoj.

Hybridní kniha, poprvé představená studentům Masarykovy univerzity v roce 2002, dospěla po deseti letech vývoje do své třetí generace. Její původní určení, – usnadnit nevidomým studentům přístup ke studijním textům – dosáhlo v posledních letech značného posunu, především v rozšíření cílové skupiny uživatelů. Hybridní kniha 3.0 je nyní dokumentovým formátem určeným nejen zrakově postiženým, ale ve stejné míře i uživatelům se sluchovým postižením nebo s jakýmkoli omezením v oblasti získávání informací tradičními kanály.
